  The original and the best! Sydney gastronomic icon. Love this place our family go to bakery for our family for over a decade. Fantastic sourdough, dangerously delicious pastries, muffins and cakes. Also die for Lamb sausage rolls. Handy bicycle parking right outside. Great spot!

  We always visit the Bourke Street Bakery when we visit Sydney. The breads and pastries are legendary and we love the pork and fennel sausage rolls (with house made tomato sauce). We think that the coffee is pretty good too. On this visit we bought a baguette to take away and it was as good as any we've had in France!

  Where the empire began. Wonderful baked treats from a tiny storefront. Casual service often ram packed with customers. Very good bread and cakes and famous sausage rolls (pork and fennel is the go).

  Came here straight away from the airport after landing in Sydney and what a pleasant fluke! Absolute quality and friendly service with a local crowd - the staff new the names of about half the customers they served while we were there.
